Diana (Uma Thurman) is a happily married wife and mother, but as the 15th anniversary of a tragic shooting at her high scool approaches, she finds her idyllic life disrupted by bad memories. Mostly, Diana reminisces about her younger self (Evan Rachel Wood) and the relationship she had with her best friend Maureen (Eva Amurri). As Diana thinks back to those dark days leading up to the shooting, she starts to piece together a puzzle of how Maureen may have played a part in the tragedy.
