This documentary profiles the last absolute monarchy in Africa: Swaziland. Ruled by King Mswati III, the tiny country is suffering from an epidemic of starvation and a devastating AIDS crisis. While a group of freedom fighters hope to remove the king from power, the monarch is also opposed by his own daughter, Princess Sikhanyiso, aka Pashu. Studying in California, Pashus eyes are opened when she returns home to witness 75,000 virgins dancing for her father in a bid to become his next wife.

In Los Angeles in the 1920s, a young girl named Alexandria Catinca Untaru rests in a hospital while recovering from a nasty fall. She quickly makes friends with Roy Walker Lee Pace who entertains her with a wild fantasy tale that has Charles Darwin Leo Bill and a team of fighters going up against an evil prince.
